On its basis, the Department of Economics was created, which still operates under this name.<\/p>\n

Rakhmonova Barno Sokhibzhonovna, senior teacher of the Department of Economics, on April 18, 2023, at a specialized council, defended her PhD thesis on the topic \u201cImproving the organizational and economic foundations of walnut cultivation\u201d in the specialty 08.00.04 — \u201cAgricultural Economics\u201d. Rakhmonova Barno received a Doctor of Philosophy diploma in economic sciences No. 01 No. 010290 based on the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 10 dated May 25, 2023.<\/p>\n
Rustambek Imomov, senior teacher of the Department of Economics, defended her PhD thesis on June 18, 2023 at a specialized council on the topic \u201cWays to increase the economic efficiency of lemon cultivation\u201d in the specialty 08.00.04 — \u201cAgricultural Economics\u201d. Rustambek Imomov received a Doctor of Philosophy diploma in economic sciences No. 01 No. 011096 based on the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 1 dated September 7, 2023.<\/p>\n
In 2022, the senior teacher of the department, Kh. Baratov, was awarded the scientific title of associate professor.<\/p>\n
In 2023, professors and teachers of the department published 89 articles in Uzbek scientific journals, SCOPUS journals, international journals with a high impact factor, other international journals, as well as at scientific and practical conferences held in the republic and abroad.<\/p>\n
Associate Professor of the Department Odiljon Shermatov was accepted into the editorial board of the journal \u201cInternational Journal on Integrated Education\u201d, ISSN 2620-3502 (E) \/ 2615-3785 (P) (Indonesia).<\/p>\n
Associate Professor of the Department Nosirov Bahodirjon was admitted to the editorial board of the American Journal of Public Diplomacy and International Studies (2993-2157)\u201d (USA).<\/p>\n
Associate Professor of the Department Baratov Hakimbek was accepted into the editorial board of the journal \u201cNew Economy of Uzbekistan\u201d (ISBN 978-9943-5256-3-4) of the National University of Uzbekistan named after M. Ulugbek and was accepted to the editorial board of the journal \u201cSCIENCE AND EDUCATION IN ACRICULTURE\u201d of Institute.<\/p>\n
Senior lecturer of the department Raxmonova Barno was admitted to the editorial board of the journal \u201cZien Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (ISSN 2769-996X)\u201d (USA).<\/p>\n
Senior lecturer of the department Imomov Rustambek was admitted to the editorial board of the journal \u201cInternational Journal of Business Diplomacy and Economy (IJBDE)\u201d; ISSN 2833-7468 (USA).<\/p>\n
The topic of the department\u2019s research work, which is planned for 2022 and 2023: \u201cImproving organizational and economic mechanisms for increasing the economic efficiency of rice growing in the digital economy.\u201d and in the 2022-2023 academic year it is planned to conduct an organizational and economic analysis of the processes of increasing the economic efficiency of rice growing on the scientific topic of the department, and the following work has been carried out in this direction:<\/p>\n
    \n
  1. In the Andijan region, production monitoring was carried out in 2023 and a database was formed, which creates the possibility of using it in scientific research and the educational process.<\/li>\n
  2. In the Andijan region, work on modernizing the activities of rice farmers and monitoring innovations was studied and the necessary materials were collected.<\/li>\n
  3. The impact of modernization and innovation implemented in the region on increasing the economic efficiency of rice cultivation was studied and conclusions and proposals were prepared.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    In addition, in order to effectively organize research work on the scientific topic of the department, in 2023, the department\u2019s staff entered into a cooperation agreement with the RICE CLUSTER LLC company in the Jalakuduk district to conduct scientific research on the topic \u201cInnovative directions for increasing the economic efficiency of rice production\u201d .<\/p>\n
    In the period 2017-2022, the department successfully completed the European Union Erasmus+ projects 586000-EPP-1-2017-PT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP BUZNET (B-learning Uzbekistan Veterinary Network), as well as the project TOPAS 585603-EPP-1-2017-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP (From Theoretical-Oriented to Practical education in Agrarian Studies).<\/p>\n
    \u00a0<\/strong>Achievements in the spiritual and educational sphere<\/strong><\/p>\n
    Professors and teachers of the department head academic groups in the areas of \u201cEconomics\u201d and \u201cDigital Economy\u201d. Also in the 2022-2023 academic year, the department is conducting a number of works related to the field of spiritual and educational work. Including in three secondary schools of the Izboskan district attached to the department, that is, the 9th secondary school located in the Dzhanabad mahalla, the unorganized youth of the Yukorihosil mahalla, as well as students of the graduating class of the 39th specialized school, located in the Barhayot mahalla. In face-to-face meetings with young people, they were introduced to the opportunities created at the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agricultural Technologies. \u201cIssues of the development of agrotourism in Uzbekistan, the essence, content and prospects for the development of tourism\u201d were conducted by teachers of the department and employees of the travel company \u201cEVENTUZASIATOUR\u201d, located in the Andijan region for 1st and 2nd year students in the field of Agrotourism, a master class was held. On March 12, according to the schedule established by the institute, events were organized in the 1st student dormitory in connection with the \u201cDay of the Department\u201d by professors and teachers Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan In accordance with the letter dated April 2, 05\/09\/1839 on ensuring execution diplomas, teacher of the department A. Ergashev conducted spiritual and educational activities in the Norinsky and Uchkurgan districts of the Namangan region. The teachers of the department organized mobile practical classes during the academic year. In order to ensure the implementation of the letter of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 09\/09-05\/1839, teachers of the department carried out spiritual and educational work in the Norinsky and Uchkurgan districts of the Namangan region during the academic year.<\/p>\n
    Talented students<\/strong><\/p>\n
    Creative and scientific cooperation has been established with talented students assigned to the department.<\/p>\n
    Tajiddinov Sardorbek, took 1st place at the international Olympiad on the topic \u201cSustainable Development Goals\u201d, competed on the topic \u201cIndustrialization, innovation and infrastructure, development of cities and towns.\u201d The scientific supervisor is Raxmonova Barno.<\/p>\n
    In the 2023-2024 academic year, a student of group 3-95 in the direction of \u201cEconomics\u201d Fakhriddiniva Dilobar received a Navoi state scholarship. The scientific supervisor is Associate Professor Nosirov Bahodirjon.<\/p>\n
    Abdusalomov Samandar, a student of group 3-95 in the direction of \u201cEconomics\u201d was awarded a 1st degree diploma at the international scientific and technical conference on the topic \u201cScientific and practical foundations for the effective use of resource-saving innovative technologies in agriculture\u201d. The scientific supervisor is Islamova Dilobar.<\/p>\n
    Mukhtarov Mamurjon took 3rd place in the subject \u201cAgricultural Economics\u201d at the Republican Online Olympiad held among students of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
