Based on the decision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 220 dated August 7, 2017, the Faculty of Protection of Plant and Agrochemistry was established. There are 3 departments of «Agrochemistry and soil science», «Quarantine of Plants and protection» and «Uzbek language, pedagogy and physical culture» are operating at the faculty. Today, the faculty has 5 educational areas, including: «Plant protection» (by crop types), » Quarantine of plants and agricultural products «, «Biotechnology» (by branches), «Agrochemistry and soil science» and «Soil grading and use of land resources». There are 1 professor, 17 associate professors, 15 senior teachers, 22 assistants, and 11 interns that are teaching young students in the faculty. 582 students are studying at the faculty. A number of clubs operate at the faculty. Including «Young Entomologist», «Inquiring Youth», «Mother Earth». Also, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No 4421, the faculty selected talented students from the 2nd stage and formed talented groups.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=»Faculty activities» tab_id=»1715835714888-965e6f90-b8b8″][vc_column_text]— achievements of educational work:<\/strong> the work of providing knowledge to students is well organized at the faculty, professors and teachers of high potential are teaching. In addition, it has been established to conduct practical and laboratory training in specialized enterprises and organizations through the integration of science, education and production, through the 5+1 program.<\/p>\n

— achievements of scientific works:<\/strong> the professors and teachers of the department published articles in many international journals in the Republic and abroad during 2023-2024. In addition, professors and teachers actively participate in scientific journals and international conferences with their articles.<\/p>\n

— foreign cooperation:<\/strong> in the faculty, the work of educating students in the spirit of loyalty to the motherland in order to spend their free time in a meaningful way is systematically carried out together with youth leaders from the field.<\/p>\n
