This creation was aligned with the decision No. PQ-4795 issued by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 7, 2020, aiming to enhance the agricultural education system in the country. The establishment of this institute represents a significant step towards advancing agricultural education and promoting agro-technology in the region. The newly established faculty of «Silk and Mulberry» under the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology boasts four departments focusing on a variety of agricultural disciplines: Fruit Growing, Vegetable Growing, and Viticulture; Sericulture, Storage, and Preliminary Processing of Agricultural Products; Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine; Physics and ChemistryThe curriculum of this faculty encompasses a wide range of subjects related to agriculture and agro-technology. Students are immersed in fields such as fruit growing, viticulture, vegetable cultivation, rice and potato farming, greenhouse management, silk production, mulberry cultivation, technology for storing and processing agricultural products (categorized by product types), organic agricultural product storage and processing, livestock product processing technology, veterinary medicine (divided by activity types), and zooengineering (specializing in cattle breeding).At present, the faculty caters to more than 817 students who benefit from the guidance of highly qualified professors and teachers. This educational institution aims to provide a comprehensive learning experience that equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for successful careers in agriculture and related fields.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=»Faculty activities» tab_id=»1593958016158-ba8f0b3b-80c1″][vc_column_text]-the educational achievements:<\/strong> at the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology’s Faculty of «Silk and Mulberry» are commendable. The faculty has successfully organized their knowledge dissemination process, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive and well-structured education.<\/p>\n

-during the academic:<\/strong> years of 2023-2024, professors and teachers from the department have exhibited significant productivity in terms of research output. More than 30 articles authored by these esteemed faculty members have been published in both national journals within the Republic and internationally. This active publication record speaks to the high caliber of research being conducted at the institute and demonstrates the commitment of the faculty to contribute valuable insights to the scientific community.<\/p>\n
