The institute works to preserve plants and animals in order to protect endangered endemic species
The Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies directly imparts knowledge and skills to its students in the cultivation and production of various agricultural products. It also focuses on the preservation of animal breeds and declining and disappearing plant species by proliferating their numbers. The professors and teachers of the Department of Agricultural Crop Selection and Medicinal Plant Cultivation, along with several employees, have made significant contributions to the preservation of a number of medicinal plants and the propagation of rare plant species through the introduction of such plants. The institute’s students are provided with in-depth knowledge across various disciplines to rebuild the diminishing population of plants and conserve animal breeds that are of rare species. Our goal is to safeguard endangered animal breeds and enhance the resources of rare plant species.
